Why it matters for ENACT-AI
The resource develops critical information and media literacy skills that are essential for evaluating AI-generated and AI-amplified content. It teaches learners to question information, understand manipulation, assess sources, recognize misleading content and verify information. It also examines the role of technology in producing and spreading disinformation. Although the 2021 edition does not specifically focus on generative AI or AI-generated content, its critical-thinking and verification skills provide a strong foundation for AI literacy.
