Why it matters for ENACT-AI

The resource encourages learners and educators to question AI-generated information, recognise bias and inaccuracies, protect personal data, and reflect on the social and educational impact of AI. It also provides practical activities that can be adapted to youth learning contexts.

Learning outcomes

Participants will be able to:

explain basic concepts and applications of artificial intelligence;
identify opportunities and risks associated with AI in education and everyday life;
critically evaluate AI-generated information and recognise potential errors and bias;
understand privacy, intellectual property and ethical issues related to AI;
reflect on the risks of excessive reliance on AI;
use AI tools more responsibly, safely and critically;
discuss the impact of AI on learners, teachers and society

Suggested activity

“Can We Trust AI?” – Critical Evaluation Workshop.
Students work in small groups to ask an AI tool to generate answers to a selected topic. They then fact-check the answers using reliable sources, identify inaccuracies, bias or missing information, and discuss whether and when AI-generated content can be trusted. Each group presents its findings and develops a short checklist for responsible AI use. The activity can be adapted for learners aged 13+ with teacher supervision, in line with the handbook's recommendations.
