Working sheets to self-reflect about the own comfort zone. A collection of printable worksheets supporting low-threshold democracy and youth education activities. The worksheets help young people reflect on their strengths, interests, values, social perceptions, work, participation and relationships with others. Activities include a comfort-zone model, personal strengths and interests, perspectives on occupations and gender, the value of different types of work, “Would you rather?” questions, and a career bingo activity.
Why it matters for ENACT-AI
The worksheets are not specifically about AI, but they provide useful methods for developing critical thinking, values clarification, perspective-taking and youth participation. They can be directly adapted to AI topics, for example by using the “Ansichtssache” activity to discuss stereotypes and bias in AI, the “Würdest du lieber?” activity to debate AI-related choices, or the “Wert von Arbeit” activity to explore automation and the changing world of work.
Learning outcomes
Learners can reflect on their own strengths, interests and values, recognise different perspectives, question stereotypes and assumptions, discuss social inequalities and the value of different forms of work, practise expressing opinions, listen to others and develop confidence in participating in group and democratic discussions.
Suggested activity
Adapt the “Ansichtssache” worksheet to AI and society. Give learners statements such as “AI will create more jobs than it removes”, “AI systems are neutral”, or “Young people should have a say in how AI is used”. Learners position themselves, explain their reasoning and listen to different perspectives. Follow with a reflection on how stereotypes, assumptions and different experiences influence opinions about AI.
